Writing about our family, personal lives, professional interests, and occasional wackyness.
There are a few scattered pictures up tonight:
Things are going well here. My mom’s in town (hi mom!), making her our first Florida visitor to Seattle. Marty’s super excited to have is “Bamma” visiting him, and had a very happy day with her today.
It’s been a couple of weeks now, so I feel like I can mention that Shawn’s been able to put Martin to bed at night without too much trouble pretty regularly. It’s so refreshing to get up after bedtime stories and leave the room once in a while! Hopefully this eventually leads to sleeping longer at night, too…two years of sleepless nights is enough for me, thanks much!
Look at me, with my fancy new camera and my picture-uploading dependability! Highlights of this upload include:
Enjoy!

A new batch of pictures are up on my photo site! The newest ones are from our trip to the Children’s Museum with Alexander and his parents, as well as a couple from last night and this morning showcasing Martin’s awesome new cheesy fake smile that he likes to flash every time he sees a camera.
(Also, welcome to anyone who’s just found this site. If you don’t have (or don’t remember!) the password to the photo site, drop me an email, IM, or message on Facebook and I’ll get you squared away!)
What can I say? The trouble with getting out of the habit of posting is that the longer I go, the more I feel like I need something Big and Monumental and Exciting to be worth of my first post back.
I don’t have that. But we’re going to try to get back in the swing of things, anyway.
What we do have is a fancy new site: medero.net. Shawn and I will both be posting there. Posts about the Martastic one will still find their way over to the old livejournal page, so those of you who are used to reading that, or who can’t imagine ever looking past your LJ Friends Page can continue to follow us that way.
And as a quick reward to anyone who’s either still checking the old site or already checking the new site, here are a few pictures from our fancy new camera that we got yesterday, replacing the one that Martin smashed the lens on a couple of months back: Donuts, visits from old friends, and a glimpse of Seattle!
